Aprilia RS 125 will not start?

I would first check the oil and make sure the engine is turning and not ceased. And as long as the voltage is the same there is't any reason why you cant use another battery. try using a portable starter first. it is an old bike, and has been stood for some time. you should always turn over once a week. Also the starter may be knackered
