American Mothers and Fathers, doesn't your permission to let your child ....?

Well, I have to disagree with your umption of all Americans. I am a proud American, and I can tell you that my children will not be allowed to have their "boyfriends or girlfriends" go on a vacation with us ever...until they are married. I do think that it is "giving permission". I will also not allow my children to date until they are 16 years old with a drivers license in their hands. There are still plenty of us around this beautiful country who feel the same way as you do. It depends on where you live and also what social cl you are ociated with. I think that this is pretty much the same way in most free nations as well. Take care!
